Building bridges between science, society, and innovation

At AstraSim, we combine over 20 years of expertise in EU-funded research and innovation with strong skills in communication, dissemination, stakeholder engagement, and exploitation. Our team has contributed to multiple Horizon Europe and Erasmus+ projects, supporting sustainable agriculture, rural development, circular economy, digital literacy, and social inclusion. Through this work, we ensure that research outcomes are not only visible but also create lasting societal impact.

Horizon Europe Projects

  • Sustainable Nutrient Management
Supporting the EU Green Deal’s targets on nutrient loss reduction, greenhouse gas mitigation, and reduced fertilizer dependency, this initiative united European and Chinese partners to deliver nature-based and digital solutions across multiple pilot sites. Our role focused on outreach strategy, stakeholder engagement, communication materials, digital content, and exploitation planning.
  • Groundwater Management & Protection
Developing an integrated digital platform for aquifer monitoring, risk modeling, and pollution early warning, tested in eight case studies across Europe. Our team ensured strong communication and stakeholder interaction, raising the visibility of outcomes and promoting uptake of the interactive knowledge base and decision-support tool.
  • Rural Innovation & Resilience
Strengthening rural communities in Europe and Africa through learner-centered hubs and living labs, enabling local actors to test and share sustainable solutions in agriculture, ecosystems, and rural development. We coordinated digital outreach, produced communication materials, supported workshops and events, and promoted results to foster long-term impact.
  • Agroecology & Sustainable Viticulture
Advancing biodiversity-driven grapevine breeding and integrated pest management (IPM) strategies to reduce pesticide use, support climate adaptation, and ensure sustainable European wine production. Our work included creating a comprehensive communication and dissemination plan, developing project identity and materials, managing websites and social media, and coordinating public engagement activities.
